SKOL VIKINGS! 2018 was undoubtedly a disappointing season for the Vikings and their fans. They missed the postseason by one game (losing to the Bears). 2019 is a new year and with that comes new hope for the ever-elusive Lombardy Trophy. Back at the helm is QB Kirk Cousins, with him are his two dynamic receivers, Thielen and Diggs accompanied by TE Kyle Rudolph. Our pass offense looked pretty good last year but what was really lacking was the run game. Losing Dalvin Cook early in the season didn't help. Cook is back as is 1st round draft pick Alexander Mattison. Another offensive addition from Alabama is TE Irv Smith Jr. Retaining Anthony Barr and a healthy Everson Griffen along with Harry "The Hit Man" Smith will keep the Vikings a force to be reckoned with on defense. Assistant head coach Gary Kubiak adds depth and experience to the coaching staff bolstering Coach Zimmer's sideline effectiveness. All in all the Vikings look pretty solid for 2019 and if key players can remain healthy the postseason is within their grasp.
