Guava beach proudly supports U.S. men’s & woman’s national soccer

With our failure to qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup long behind us, the US Men’s National Soccer Team (USMNT) will head to Qatar for the 2022 FIFA World Cup this November; returning to the world's greatest football tournament with high hopes of showing the rest of the planet what they can do. Led by proven sensation Christian Pulisic, head coach Gregg Berhalter now has arguably the most talented roster in the nation's history, with names such as Tyler Adams, Weston McKennie, Gio Reyna, Tim Weah, Brenden Aaronson, Sergiño Dest, and Antonee Robinson. However, if the United States is going to make a Cinderella run at the world championship, they will first need to navigate through the group stage. This will include tough matchups against England, Wales, and Iran in Group B. The evolution has begun!

Nowhere are the chants “USA USA!” more prevalent anywhere in San Diego than here at Guava Beach. Having supported US Soccer for many years, both soccer players and raging soccer fanatics alike at Guava Beach will continue to support our ongoing World Cup qualification brigade; and focus our sites on the 2022 FIFA World Cup games in Qatar! “I believe that we will win…I believe that we will win…!”
